Maya is a 7 month old lab-shepherd girl -- definitely a puppy at heart. We say she is all lab in the the middle and shepherd on her tips. She has a black-tipped tail and big white shepherd paws - adorable! Maya loves to meet everyone she bumps into, and ask to be petted.  She's friendly with children and adults. She loves chasing balls and squeaky toys -- and, of course, her chew toys. She'll do just about anything for a treat - so she's learning her "sits" and "downs". Maya was rescued from a county shelter when her owner had to move to an apartment. Maya was an outside dog who has adjusted quickly to her new inside lifestyle. She walks on a leash and goes everywhere willingly, including her crate. Maya is looking for somebody out there who will want to be her new forever family.
