Hi Laura, here are some family photos with Lucy. It's been a challenge trying to get photos of her because she's usually so close to me that my camera won't focus. LOL. If you're ever in the area and want to see Lucy just give |

Well, Margret (now Mattie) has settled in and taken over the place. She has gone from snapping at my daughter the first day to bouncing four feet in the air when she shows up. She is down to barely barking at new people and then playing with them and their kids and sitting in their laps or having to have a paw or two on them.
The trainer was amazed that she played by herself. She considers the backyard pretty much hers, though she does love me to be in it with her, and she goes for long racing runs all around and through the yard like an obstacle course. She has gotten out a couple times when someone opened the gate (boy is she quick!), but runs quickly through the neighborhood and then comes HOME! My husband, who likes animals but is not bonkers over them due to their shedding issues, has been caught playing in the yard with her. She absolutely adores him. She loves her toys, and when I bought her her own bed she snatched it out of my hand and kept moving it around that day and sleeping in it. She won't sleep in her crate without her bed ~ it's too cute! She does come and steal little things, like you said. When something is new she comes and finds me and seems to search my face to make sure everything is okay, then continues on her merry way. She loves her walk/runs with me. She loves to go in the car, but only in the middle seat. So, THANK YOU, and God bless you and yours, Cheryl & Family |

Things are settling in well here. We changed Babette's name to Honey, which she seems fine with. My 8 year old is her special friend. She has been on several hikes with the family and many trips out to the oak in the field. She spends many days at my mom's house and sees the girls when they get there after school. Thank you, Jennifer |

Ramona (or we now call her Teenie!) is doing awesome. She is so happy in her dog bed we got her, and is getting along well with two pit bull puppies we met down stairs! We are deparately in love with Teenie. She's at work right now with Allison. Allison says everyone loves her. Thank you! Josh and Allison. |

Here are our two-year-old, Jake, and one of our three cats, Cubby. Duke and Jake are best buds. He’s a great dog! Bless you guys for all you do! Warm regards, Angela Chodorow |
Just wanted to send an update on Bridger (Rudy)...he's doing great! Graduated from puppy class, and now we are planning on starting either Rally or Agility. He went on his first hiking/climbing trip a few weeks ago, and he did great! He's also getting big! The vet initially didn't think he'd be bigger than 40 pounds since he was only 19 lbs when we adopted him, but now he's 51 lbs! Looks like he might be 60 lbs. He's fun, sweet, intelligent, and sometimes trouble. (: Oh, and he LOVES tug-o-war. He carries his tug toy around and walks up to anyone he is near and pushes the toy against them. Pictures are both from a climbing trip up to Big Bear we took in July. Thanks, Alicia |
Hi Laura, I adopted Kaiser from you last November. I wanted to let you know he is doing great and loves his new life with us. He especially likes my dad for some reason? He likes to chase possums for fun and loves to play fetch with anything. I attached some pics from when we went to the beach a few weeks ago. Thanks again for bringing Kaiser into our family……… Kendall Bradford |
Just to let you know that Boomer is fitting right in. We think that he is going to be a great big brother for Ciara. Heather & Keith |
Laura, we can't thank you enough for introducing us to our newest family member Cooper (formerly Freddie) Our 16 month old daughter Abby and Cooper are the best of friends. The two of them are always playing together. He is such a gentle boy with her and puts up with what ever amount of toys she wants to stack up on him. My husband and I could not have wished for a better dog for our family. Thank you so much. Colleen Conklin |

Here are the pups Laura, I just thought you might like an update on Clay and to see that we got him a sister :) |
Rex (Rexford) is absolutely wonderful. He is getting bigger. He is now 47lbs and still growing. He absolutely loves hiking. Rex has been hitting the local trails almost on a daily basis. He also loves riding in the truck. I am looking forward to taking him up to the Sierra’s on fishing and camping trips when he gets a little older and more mature. He has been in “Puppy” training class and doing very well. Everyone in the class loves Rex. His disposition is great. He is so playful. I just love his play dance that he does when he is in a feisty mood. It is absolutely hilarious. The first word that comes to mind when I think of him is “Rascal.” I love him sooo much.
Laura, thank you so much for being there at the right time with the right dog for me. Rex has truly enriched my children’s and my life so much. He has brought a lot of joy to our lives and we are looking forward to infinite amount of memories we have yet to experience together. Also, thank you for what you are doing. The rescuing of dogs and the effort put forth to find homes for them is incredibly appreciated by many. I wish you and your organization success at all levels. Thank you, Robb Ramos |

Just wanted to check back with you and say "thanks again," for such a great dog. We love Layla! She goes to the dog park every day and on weekends we take her to the beach. She is very sociable and gets along with everyone (people and dogs). She spends days with me, in my studio, occasionally running outside to stretch. We are currently working with a trainer, Brian Lee. We've only had one of five sessions but he said she seems to have adapted to our home without any problems. She loves playing with our two year old son. They both have lots of energy so they make a great pair. Thanks, Peter McEvilley |
Cassie is a keeper -- no question. Thanks for bringing us together, Laura! As you can see, she's right at home, Scott |
